Professional Roof Restoration Because the Game Must Go On
Blayney Centrepoint Sports and Leisure Centre in Blayney Shire Council required remedial building solutions to keep their roof, gutters and pool area in prime condition. Murphy’s provided thorough reroofing and restoration of key areas in the sports facility so the building could remain operational for years to come. The project value was $1.5 million and was completed to the client’s satisfaction in 17 weeks.
Murphy’s experienced remedial building team got to work straight away by delineating the site and demolishing the existing metal deck roofing, gutters and downpipes. Complete reroofing was done with new skylights, insulated roof panels, capping, flashings and roof penetrations. Brand-new gutters and downpipes were also installed for maximum stormwater management efficiency.
In the pool area, we demolished steel purlins and the existing concrete apron on the east side. These were then professionally rebuilt and installed, taking all safety measures into consideration.
Murphy’s also installed new rotary roof ventilators with electric dampers and new destratification fans over the two dry courts. Temporary barriers and fencing were erected to isolate the remedial building work area from the partially operational facilities at the centre. Through dedication to quality and customer service, we were once again able to deliver above our client’s expectations.
